Serrmi manufactures mast ladder platforms, or MLPs, for railroad signal and crossing applications. Designed to support safe equipment access and efficient field installation, MLPs can be configured around customer specifications, signal layouts, terminal box requirements, and site conditions. With foldable designs, steel and aluminum options, close-clearance configurations, back-to-back layouts, ladder access options, and available fall protection features, Serrmi MLPs help simplify installation while giving maintainers a practical structure for long-term signal service.
30 Minutes or Less Assembly
MLPs are designed to move from folded to assembled quickly, with catalog configurations noted as assembling in 30 minutes or less. Units can ship complete in one package, arrive ready to set on foundation, and support a smoother path from delivery to final field installation.
Configurable Signal Layouts
Mast ladder platforms can be configured to customer specifications, including standard, close-clearance, back-to-back, and 3-position layouts. Options include one or two terminal boxes, left- or right-hand ladder access, platform positioning, and signal mounting configurations based on the needs of the project.
Efficient Shipping & Handling
Foldable MLP designs help reduce shipping and storage challenges. Catalog details note stackable units for shipping and storage, with up to 16 units able to ship on one flatbed truck depending on configuration. Modular aluminum designs can also include forklift rings for easier loading and unloading.
Access, Safety & Retrofit Options
MLP's can support maintainer access with available ladder guards, fall protection systems, ladder swing locks, and add-on platform and ladder kits. Retrofit options are also available for existing signal masts, giving railroads a practical way to upgrade access without replacing the entire structure.
